After seeing Amina from Studio Mucci's gorgeous floral wall, I've been dreaming up ways to hot glue flowers on everything. I would do my whole wardrobe if I could, but I compromised and chose a old beach bag to be my new staple accessory. Back in middle school I had a whole slew of yellow rose pillows that my my mother had made for me. Don't you just love when middle school style makes a comeback, ha!
Seriously, this can be a diaper bag, a beach bag, or just your every day tote. After making it, I've kept it hanging in my studio when I'm not using it. It's just too pretty not to look at.
Will you believe me if I said all you need is a bag, hot glue, and flowers? It's super easy, something you can get done while watching your favorite chick flick! Crafting and movies go together better than PB&J.
- One straw beach bag
- Hot glue and hot glue gun
- Starting with one color of flowers, hot glue them sporadically over the bag. Make sure to put the glue on the flower and then attach to bag.
- Continue until all flowers are used or the bag is completely covered
